Upgrading my Desktop
// June 21st, 2009 // Ankur Mittal, technology
It has been already more then 6 years since I purchased my Laptop.I have not used it since past 1.5 years,so I thought of getting back to the desktop.
I had already purchased a new 22 inch Samsung LCD Screen for the desktop,to be precise the model is 2233SW
Next I had to upgrade the CPU,I thought of changing the whole as basically it has been quite outdated and was giving some problems.
So here are the new configurations for my CPU
Motherboard: Intel Original DG45ID
Processor: Either Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 or Quad Core 9550 ( It depends on my fathers mood )
Optical Drive- Samsung DVD Writer SH223
RAM: Either 4 GB DDR2 or 2 GB DDR3
Hard Disk: 320 GB Samsung
Graphics Card: NVIDIA 9500GT- MD1G or ATI Radeon’s R4650-D1G (i=In short 1 GB dedicated memory)
Cabinet- iball (Any of these- ibenz, gamer,WindowsX,Pride)
Wi-Fi Card- DLINK
I already have 2 sets of Keyboard and Mouse( one is Logitech wired and the other is Microsoft’s wireless) so no need to buy a new one
and my speakers are working great.
So,overall I would be having a new desktop in a couple of days.
I know that my configurations is bit on a higher side but I need to be a good and powerful machine which could run Windows 7 smoothly and couple of my games including Halo 2 )
Waiting for your reviews about my new desktop.

and i think there s too less difference betwn 320 and 500
Rahul yea I know their is hardly 800 to 900 rs difference but the thing is my father thinks that even 80 GB is enough
and why not I have 2 lappys one has 80 gb other has 250 gb another hard disc 80 gb,that’s why itni mushkil se 320 gb par agree kiya hai
